How to remove tar on your paintwork

During hot weather the road surface can heat up well beyond the ambient air temperature. This can cause it to disintegrate, and subsequently small particles of tar are flicked up by your car’s tyres, leaving unsightly stains on your paintwork and ruining an otherwise perfect finish.

Autoglym Intensive Tar Remover instantly dissolves tar, adhesive residues, fuel stains and resinous tree sap on your bodywork, allowing it to be wiped or washed away during your car care routine.

Simply apply it directly to the source and wait for the trouble spots to dissolve before wiping or washing it off.

Autoglym Intensive Tar Remover can also be used inside your car to remove ink, gum, glue residue and oil stains from seats, carpets and hard surfaces, or even polish and wax residue from rubber and plastic trim.

We are here to help you.
